Like many of Sasha's published works, Reminiscence is a musical rendering of a mood or emotion, this time emphasizing nostalgia and reminiscing on the past. Starting in a gentle manner, the piece cycles through lush chord progressions, building towards climaxes of heightened intensity that ultimately conclude with a soft and open-ended coda, leaving listeners with an opportunity to reflect, perhaps to reminisce.
