Discovery (2025)

Discovery is a piece for solo piano that began in late 2024, had its first completed iteration in early 2025, and underwent multiple revisions leading up to its final edition in 2026. The fundamental basis of the piece lies in the repetition of a single note throughout the duration of the piece, gradually expanding on that note and forming what can be described as a realm of sound. Initially intended as the opening track of a now-abandoned concept album (Celestia), the piece is heavily inspired by motifs of space and celestial bodies.
